Monday Night Gig and Baby It's Cold Outsideways
January 13, 2012
Hey, so a couple things:
1) If you're in New York, come on out to Rockwood Music Hall on Monday night, Jan 16th! Playing a free show before I head out of town (more on where I'm going in the next blog post). 8:30 PM. Free show. Yeah? Oh yeah.
2) I was in the very fun first incarnation of a singer/songwriter's game night at Ars Nova in December called the Song Arcade. We were paired up and given musical challenges. Me and the amazing Damon Daunno were dared to make a role-reversal duet. We found the lyrics in something you know well, but the rest was an experiment. Enjoy!
(P.S. You can't see my face at all. Very Cousin Itt.)
3) If you're a music theory nerd, a Beyonce fan, or both, you'll enjoy this article.

YOU UNDO ME
September 22, 2011
Music man extraordinaire, Mike Brun and I had some fun with barbershop as this wonderful summer drew to a close. Check out his delightfully intricate arrangement of my new song, YOU UNDO ME. Mike has an amazing musical blog project, uploading a new track every twelve days for a full year. He was kind enough to feature our collaboration as this cycle's installment, and even recorded the whole quartet himself. Check it out here:
Also, check out the live performance at last month's release concert. Catch us again at Rockwood Music Hall on October 25th!
COMING THIS FALL!
September 2, 2011
Thanks to everyone who came to all the concerts this summer and celebrated the release of WHAT OTTERS DO with me!
Here's a fall preview of what's on tap for the coming months....
I'm singing a few songs by the endlessly, infectiously hummable tunesmith, Eli Bolin on September 18th alongside some Broadway greats.

One of my favorite theater companies in New York, Ars Nova, is featuring several songs of mine in their annual benefit concert on October 3rd. So far, Teal Wicks, the current Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked, will be performing my song 'I Sing of Artemis'. Stay tuned for more announcements of singers!
I'm thrilled to be cast in Stop the Virgens, a brand new opera written by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and directed by Adam Rapp at St. Ann's Warehouse in October!

Me and the band will back for another free show at Rockwood's Stage Two for an acoustic set on Monday October 24th at 8 PM.
And we'll be kicking off the holiday season with our debut gig at Joe's Pub on November 15th at 7:30. Cooking up some exciting stuff for this one, so save the date!

And lastly, here's Poonam and Rahul covering my song, Wet Shoes Waltz, at the Ashraya Initiative for Children in India. A good friend of mine taught them the melody while working with AIC - donate to their incredible program at ashrayaintiative.org!
