Hey everybody, this year is off and running already! Here's what's coming up:
The Joe's Pub residency last year was such a blast, we thought - why stop there? So, we're officially keeping it going with a bunch of concerts this spring, leading up to my new album release show in May! First up is a totally solo show on Saturday February 10th at 7 PM. Just me and my instruments. And you of course - there are still some tickets left, so go get them while you can. Tickets are also available for March 27th, April 23rd and the record release on May 15!
Speaking of the album, we just wrapped up two amazing weeks in the studio tracking and I truly cannot wait to share what we've made with you this spring.
Also, I am over the moon to announce that my musical adaptation of Twelfth Night is coming back to the Delacorte this summer for a full five-week Public Theater Shakespeare in the Park run! I'm so happy that thousands more people will be able to experience the magic of Public Works. Save the dates and we'll see you in Illyria!
And speaking of Shakespeare, here's a recording I made of the songs from my AS YOU LIKE IT adaptation from this past summer at the Delacorte. I was so honored that our production made the New York Times Best Theater of 2017 list. And listen up high school drama teachers and theater directors everywhere - I'm pumped to share that As You Like It is now available for professional and amateur licensing through The Musical Company. I hope this show can bring your communities as much joy as it brought ours here in New York!
Here's to another year ahead of responding to the madness of our world with love, creativity and community.
Thank you for listening and supporting. See you at Joe's Pub!
